ON THE RUN VEGAN (WYNWOOD)

Being vegan in Miami often feels less like a culinary adventure and more like a scavenger hunt. So the excitement was real when we discovered a fully vegan food truck — anticipation instantly set to high. That excitement was slightly dampened upon arrival at the parking lot, where several food trucks were lined up, all powered by loudly rattling generators. The ambiance landed somewhere between a street food market and an involuntary hearing test. Still, hunger won over the growing tinnitus, so we ordered two burgers — loudly, by necessity. The owner was very friendly and got straight to work. While waiting in the blazing heat alongside a handful of other customers, accompanied by steady generator white noise, about 30 minutes passed. Thankfully, the inexpensive water made the wait a bit more bearable. The burgers themselves were very good, especially the chipotle sauce, which really stood out. The fries, however, seemed to get most of their color from the seasoning — flavor-wise they were rather pale and surprisingly low on salt, particularly when compared to the burger. For the price, the overall experience didn’t quite meet expectations. Perhaps other items on the extensive menu are more promising, but unfortunately the fries were not. Three stars for the tasty Burger and the large Menu section.

I found this food truck on Google and a friend also mentioned it to me. This place is 11/10. The chipotle burger was so flavorful, & cheesy, I didn’t want the last bite to happen! Sweet potato fries were the best I’ve ever had. He gave me a side of sauce for them, hear me out.. it tasted like melted marshmallow and it’s the perfect combo I never knew existed 🤯 I also got the Oreo smoothie and that was amazing too. I can’t wait to comeback to this place. It’s in Wynwood which is such a great location. They’re open late too. Highly recommend this spot for one of the best vegan foods I’ve ever had!!!! Also service was excellent, the guy was awesome. Come try it, you’ll be hooked

I ordered the barbecue wings, and somehow the outside said “BBQ,” but the inside said “printer paper.” Overall the taste was questionable.I didn’t even know texture confusion like that was possible.The fries also showed up… in spirit. They were there physically, but flavor-wise? Missing in action. Tragically tasteless. Customer service felt like a group project where no one knew who was in charge. Lots of chaos, not a lot of direction. By the end of the meal, I wasn’t mad, just confused. Like… what did I actually eat? Disclaimer: Meat free and Plant base life for over 20 years I love supporting vegan spots but this was not it.

We drove 2.5hrs and it was well worth it! Everything was top tier, from the food to the hospitality. We left full but not heavy like you do with highly processed vegan food. We had the pleasure of speaking with Alex and we were so impressed by his dedication to quality and customer experience. Everything is made in house 🍄‍🟫with clean ingredients and family recipes. As a professional baker I was shocked to hear that their house made bread was gluten free, it was even better than the classic potato bread that I grew up eating. This is food that everyone can enjoy, vegans and non vegans alike.

I usually order the vegan bacon cheeseburger with vegan cheese, and it's always amazing. Today, I decided to try the chicken sandwich. and Wow, it has officially become my new favorite! It was crispy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The food is consistently great, the service is friendly, and the overall experience is always enjoyable. If you're in Miami and looking for delicious vegan comfort food, Vegan on the Go is a must visit. Whether you're vegan or just curious about plant based food, this place will keep you coming back for more!

Delicious food and lovely chef, Jerry! We had the buffalo shrimp sandwich and Philly cheesesteak. Both were phenomenal and hit the spot after a long day of walking!
